Science tutoring for year 7 to years 11 students

Key Stage 3 Science

Year 7 and 8 students engage with our Key Stage 3 (KS3) syllabus, which effectively prepares them for the academic challenges of Science at GCSE.

Students will study the three primary areas of science—Biology, Chemistry and Physics in the sequence that has been planned by their school.

Our Lead Teacher will communicate with parents to ensure that the planned curriculum adequately prepares students for the academic demands of Science at GCSE.

Students will also cover the three main areas of science – Biology, Chemistry and Physics using our planned KS3 syllabus which prepares them for the academic rigour of the Science at GCSE.

Students in Year 9 to Year 11, including both studying Combined Science and Triple Science tracks, strictly follow the AQA Exam syllabus, ensuring a comprehensive science curriculum tailored to their academic needs.

I'm a current qualified teacher of science with more than a decade of teaching experience under my belt. I have a proven track record of successfully helping thousands of students achieve academic excellence in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at GCSE level.

My approach to teaching is rooted in inspiration, enthusiasm, and motivation. By implementing effective teaching methods grounded in cognitive science, I strive to make science learning an enjoyable journey for my students.

Our online group tuition service covers the KS3 and KS4 national curriculum in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

How are the classes conducted?

Classes are conducted live via Zoom, providing interactive and engaging sessions with experienced science tutors.

What is the class size?

Each group tuition class typically consists of 2-4 students, ensuring personalised learning environment. Personalised 1:1 tuition is also available for students in year 9 to 11 only

What are the qualifications of the lead tutor?

Our lead tutor Taiwo is highly qualified, with extensive teaching experience and expertise in all the three science subjects. Taiwo holds advanced degrees, masters degree qualification, Post graduate qualifications and two national professional qualifications in school leadership.

How often are the classes held?

Classes are held twice a week, with additional revision sessions available closer to exam periods.

How long is each class?

Each 1:1 class lasts 60 minutes and the group classes lasts 1: 30 minutes.

What resources are provided to the students?

Students receive comprehensive study materials, including lecture notes and practice questions.

How can parents monitor their child's progress?

Parents receive regular progress reports and can attend scheduled parent-teacher meetings to discuss their child's performance and areas for improvement.

Is there a trial period available?

Yes, we offer a 30 minutes trial period for new students to experience our teaching methods and interact with our lead tutor.

How do I enrol my child in the tuition service?

Enrolment can be done by scheduling a free 30 consultation call with our lead teacher to discuss your child's needs. A trial lesson will be planned and scheduled using the details of the conversation with our lead teacher.
